The truth is that I don't have any money "La verdad es que no tenga dinero."

The truth is that I have money "La verdad is que tengo dinero."

Is that correct?

I don't think the subjunctive applies here. I would just say "La verdad es que (no) tengo dinero." Note that I am using the present tense conjugation of tener. - modrak, Jan 27, 2013

Estoy de acuerdo con Modrak también. You are stating a fact as you see it. Try another way of saying the same sentence in English. I am rich. I am not rich. Statements of fact from the speakers point of view.

I hope that's right! Jaja
