Difference between Pensar, Creer and Parecer?

A little confused as to use what verb and when. For example, the question what do you think? Qué piensas? Qué crees? Qué te parece?

They think I am crazy-piensan que estoy loco or creen que estoy loco?

Thanks

Pensar is 'to think.' Estoy pensando de gatos. I am thinking of cats.

Creer is 'to believe.' Creo que seas inteligente. I believe that you are intelligent.

Parecer is 'to seem.' Pareces como una simpática persona. You seem like a nice person.

Generally, it seems like Spanish speakers use creer to say what they believe, and pensar in the other cases. So it would be 'Creen que sea loco.' Of course, 'Estoy creiendo de gatos' would mean 'I am believing in/of cats,' which obviously would not fit.

Shouldn't it be "Creo que eres inteligente", not "seas"? - HackerKing, Jan 26, 2013
