Escoges el libro de Isabel Allende

This sentence is weird to me. I read "You find the Isabel Allende's book." What does it mean? It's not commanding someone to find her book. It's not saying, "You have found her book" I only see "You find her book" and that doesn't make sense to me

The literal translation is "You choose the book of Isabel Allende." The verb is in the present indicative since if it were a familiar command it would be escoge. In more common usage, of course in English you'd say, "You choose (are choosing) Isabel Allende's book."
