When to put a tilde
I have noticed that when combining a verb form with a indirect object pronoun and direct object pronoun, a tilde is sometimes added to the word. What is the general rule of adding tildes to verb forms with IO and DO pronouns attached at the end?

Well, first of all you need to know the basic rules of accentuation in Spanish. Not really sure if you know these are not, but if you do it becomes really simple. Basically, when a pronoun is added to an infinitive or command in Spanish the emphasis will always fall where it was in the original word. Then all you have to do is add accents according to the rules. For example, if you take "abre", a command form of the infinitive "abrir", and add the pronoun "la" referring to "la puerta". You have "ábrela". In this case the original word "abre" is a "palabra llana", so the accentuation falls on the "a". If we add "la" to "abre" and come up with "abrela" (with no written accent), the emphasis would, according to grammatical rules, fall on the "e". Since we know that we must maintain the emphasis on the first "a", we know that there must be a written accent, and thus we have "ábrela".
Hi, please provide us at least an example.
