I´d say right away. It´s one of the things that allows an adult to progress more rapidly than a child. The video lessons here do fair job of sneaking some grammar in along with the spoken and vocabulary of the videos. Then you can manually hit the grammar lessons here to reinforce, or delve deeper. I´d recommend diving in right away, that way you´re getting a balanced approach. Ultimately, we all learn a bit differently, and you´ll have to fine-tune as is best for you.

Buena suerte!

If you view the video lessons on SD and work through the excercises, you will recieve a basic understanding of Spanish grammar. I would recommend a series of workbooks called the "Practice Makes Perfect" series by Dorothy Richmond for additional study and practice.
