Translation for High School

Hi there,

I need to translate "High School" into Spanish, and I know the direct translation is "escuela secundaria", but I was wondering what alternatives may I use?

I'm looking for something that sounds hip and appealing-this is for a title for a movie week with high school related movies.

Thanks!

In Uruguay, a "colegio" is usually a private school with all grades. A "liceo" is a private school equivalent to a US high school.

depends on where you are. Keep in mind they Spanish spekaing country has it own educational system .A US style high school is escuela secundaria. In Spain it would be instituto de enseñanza secundaria or instituto for short. So take your audience into account.

Spanish speakers in the United States just call it high school. I'm right with you! Learning what to say for "high school" is so confusing!
