What does cederrón mean?

I have come across the word "cederrón". It is not in the Translate dictionary and it does not seem to be a conjugation of a verb. What is the translation (to English) of this Spanish word? It might have to do with recent technology and not be in the common dictionaries yet.

It is a phonetic(?) spelling of the phrase "CD-rom." Apparently this is the most updated way to say it now.

As a teacher of English to Spanish speakers I will tell you that in spoken Spanish no one ever pronounces the letter "m" (I have to edit here and add: at the end of a word, the last sound) like "m". It is always pronounced like "n" (again: at the end of a word, the last sound). This word seems to represent that proclivity in Spanish speakers.
