¿Cuál es el sinónimo correcto de fútbol? ¿Balón pié o balompié?

Generally, the games are in both languages. I find it difficult to read the Spanish. I think other beginners have a hard time, too. Also, it helps to put something like, “answer in both languages” in the question. I hope members would participate more. - bandit51jd, Jan 10, 2013

¡Qué pregunta rara, amigo! No me interesan muchos deportes pero a mí las palabras "balón" y "pié" significan el idea de fútbol. Al mismo tiempo la palabra balompié representa exactamente la pronunciación de "balón pié"; pero no sé si balompié es realmente una palabra. (J'ai dificulté des temps en temps entre français et espagnol parceque c'est "una palabra" en espagnol et "un mot" en français! Je parle de genre)

Clue: Antes de "p" y "b" en español siempre se escribe "m" y no "n".

Creo que es "balompié" también, como ha dicho la mayoria de la gente aquí. Si se usaran unas palabras, se diría "balón de pié."
