Can you help? How to use 'leerlo' etc. (also proofreading work)

Hi, I have a very important exam on Tuesday. Can you help to clarify how I would use 'lo'. I can say 'os recomiendo leerlo'?
also how would I say 'I thought it was the perfect time to learn all about it' like this? "pensé que fue un tiempo perfecto para lo aprender todos sobre'.
one more thing. Does anyone know an online community that might check my spanish work? (200 word book review)
