Is "tarar" a verb?

In Shakira's song Gordita, they say "tarará". I can't find it anywhere, and didn't know if maybe it's just a cultural thing, or maybe slang of some sort. Answers appreciated!

tararear is a verb (meaning to make the sound tarará or to hum, to be more exact).
Tarará is like Fa la la, la la la, la la .. is English for a Xmas song.

Yes, tarar is a verb, clic here. But in the song it isn't a verb.
