Teach me how to use "pelo" please?
"pelo" is used in different ways. I know that it means "hair" but how would you use it in a phrase that sounds like "by the skin of my teeth". Also, there is a phrase on your list that translates "I want all the juicy details" to "quiero saber todo el cotilleo con pelos y señales." When I read that, I see "I want to know all the gossip with hairs and point outs".
How would you explain this?

Con pelos y señales.... "without missing a thing"
"by the skin of my teeth" justo a tiempo... en el último momento... por un pelo...
