Please confirm that I found a mistake in a learning course.

Question

I borrowed a book which teaches Spanish by means of conversations, and I'm pretty sure I found a spelling error. Please confirm. Two friends call a man to say they've just arrived in Madrid from Mexico. The man replies, according to the book, "Tengo ganas de veros lo más pronto posible." It should say "verlos", right?

Veros is correct. In Spain, they use vosotros to address people in the informal plural "you" form. In Latin America ustedes is used for the plural you form (both formal and informal).

Tengo ganas de veros means I cannot wait to see you all (informal -- vosotros).

Tengo ganas de verlos means I cannot wait to see you all (formal - ustedes in Spain or informal and formal in Latin America, ustedes)
