What does pasar (lo) mean?

What does pasar (lo) mean?

I don't understand how to use this verb; pasar (lo)

There's a sentence in my book:

Me lo paso muy bien en este campamento.

Furthermore, my book also says that pasar (lo) means to be fine, however it doesn't explain how to use ''lo'' and the conjugation.

Anyone cares to explain that to me grin ?

I don't think that there is a literal translation for that expression. Actually, it was funny when in high school I saw my classmate translating that verb as "pass".

"Pasarlo" or "pasar" is used when we talk about "spending/spent time", so "Parsarlo bien" is something like "have fun". Then, "me lo paso muy bien" is just another construction to say "I have a lot of fun".

Do you want to get the use of this expression at once? Listen to this song!!! =D

Thank you for the reply. Does that mean that if I want to say: are you having fun? Would it be something like this: te lo pasas muy bien? - vengamujer, Dec 21, 2012
Yeah, and or like Roger said if you want to say "To have a good time", which seems less exciting but I think it also does it as the English version, of course, you still can say "diviértete" for "have fun". - -cae-, Dec 21, 2012

I´d second that.

I learned ´pasarlo bien´ as ´to have a good time´

and,

´pasarlo mal´ as ´to have a bad time´ or ´to not enjoy oneself´
