It's perfect!

Then verb in brackets is missing in number 5. (It could be (querer) but I'd use (tomar) instead)

Number 7 I guess it's okay, I'm not sure but maybe in Spain you can use it that way.

Maybe a native will jump in here with more insight,, but in the meantime, maybe you could state

1) what you´d like to say in English.

and

2) the full instructions and context for line number 7.

I don´t know enough to help on this one clearly, but an ´Estar plus Participle´ construction might include ¨estoy comunicando¨ or ¨estamos comunicando¨

or present like.

Para mantener el contacto con mi padre, comunicamos por teléfeno.

Again, I hope a native gets in and can help better.

That why I say that it may be correct in some countries. - Hokuten, Dec 19, 2012
Yeah, your sentence is correct, except you miss the pronoun "nos" after the comma "...nos comunicamos por teléfono". The original number 7 could be okay, if by "comunica" the sentence was to say "the telephone rings" or "make the beeping sound" - Hokuten, Dec 19, 2012

Yes, looks good overall, and I agree with Hokuten that tomar might be better in the 2nd clause (or even both)

I can´t understand 7, but it may be a lack of context or a lack of ability on my part.

Can you provide more context?

Quiere decir que comunicas con su padre por teléfono?
