Your second attempt is great.

Another option could be:

En mi sueño anoche, me dijiste que me amabas.

Just like in English the tenses often sound good when they match.

... last night, you 'told' me that you 'loved' me.

I guess it depends where you want the focus to be, and in your case it may well be in the present 'me amas'

Because of tense agreement and time of actions in the past, Kiwi-Girl´s suggestion is the best way to say it.

Also another way and very natural is "Anoche cuando soñé contigo, me dijiste que me amabas."
