That is to be expected.

That is to be expected.

Hi all. I'm trying to figure out how to say That is to be expected".

I really don't even have an informed guess or know what mood or tense. Something irreal, but expected, and also maybe passive is just too much to guess even. Any possible translations welcome. Thanks. Roger.

No estoy segura, pero adivino:

Eso se esperaba. That was expected.

Eso me esperaba. I was expecting that.

For 'that is to be expected' how about 'eso es de esperarse'?

Es de esperarse.

Completamente predecible.
