Nosotros Imperative to Say "Let's Do Something"

-- Let's talk tomorrow. Lo hagamos juntos. -- Let's do it together. Todo el mundo ha llegado, comamos. -- Everyone has arrived, let's eat.

¿Puedo hacer lo mismo con casi cualquier verbo?

I think you've got the hang of it already. As for a simple question.. The imperative seems rather complicated, actually! - annierats, Dec 14, 2012

¡Hablemos mañana!-- let's talk tomorrow!

¡Esperémosla!-- Let's wait for her/it!

¡ Hagámoslo! - Let's do it!

I think these are correct and hope they help.

Ah, ahora entiendo. Like the "tú" commands, any pronouns get tacked onto the end of the verb. ¡Gracias! - emailmike1994, Dec 14, 2012
Sí, perfecto :) - cogumela, Dec 14, 2012
Gracias, as I hardly ever have to give orders it has taken me ages to half understand this.. - annierats, Dec 14, 2012
Is it supposed to be "hágamoslo"? I can't remember... - cola_jet_set, Dec 15, 2012
You might be right, cola. I just tried to look it up and found both forms. I think you're right.. - annierats, Dec 17, 2012
World reference gives hagámoslo, for what it is worth, an interesting query. - annierats, Dec 17, 2012

Yes you're quite right that the imperative and subjunctive forms are often identical.

But the affirmative tú commands not the same as the subjunctive.

Eg Habla is the affirmative tú command for 'speak'.

The negative tú commands are the same as the subjunctive.

No hables. (tú) Don't speak.

And don't forget the irregular affirmative tú forms:

decir - di

salir - sal

hacer - haz

ser - sé

ir - ve

tener - ten

poner - pon

venir - ven

Also the verb ir is irregular in some of its affirmative command forms:

Affirmative Imperative Go! ve, vaya, vamos, id, vayan

That's all I can think of off the top of my head although there may be others.
