Who, what, or where am I? #46

I was hungry, so I decided to grab a bite.
Where am I and what am I eating?

Do NOT use a Google. If you do not know the answer, you can ask me yes/no-questions (questions that I can answer with either 'yes' or 'no').

This meal consists of pupusa, the must-try food in El Salvador, and a curtido, served with a tomato sauce.

Pupusa is a grilled tortilla made of cornmeal or rice filled with white cheese and vegetables and/or beans, sometimes with shredded pork.

Curtido is pickled cabbage, with herbs such as basil, and cucumber, onion and chile. (the Salvadorian version of sauerkraut).

Here are the wikipedia links for pupusa and gordita. They are definitely related.

Excerpt from the Pupusa entry found below: The Mexican gordita is also similar to the Salvadoran pupusa, but the ingredients vary. Gorditas generally have more filling than pupusas (hence the name gordita - "little fatty") and normally have an opening at the center of the tortilla. Note: Gorditas are not open in the center but rather along the edge creating a pocket into which the fillings are placed. And yes they are stuffed full of filling.

Creo que es una pupusa. Dejaré que otros contesten sobre los países donde se deleita este rico plato.

It looks like what we call a gordita here in Mexico. Sort of a pita type bread that is grilled split open and stuffed with over a dozen differing guisados. Here they come is maiz and harina, with maiz being far more common.

Some stuffings are: chicharron en salsa verde, carnitas in mole, cochinita pibil, frijoles con queso, etc.
