This colorful mosaic wall (with romantic inscriptions) runs around 'El Parque del Amor', Miraflores, Lima, Peru.
This park, which is entirely devoted to romance, opened on Valentines Day 1993. It features a prominent statue of two lovers in a passionate embrace ('El Beso' by Victor Delfin). It is said that the locals compete for the longest kiss under this statue.
Below this statue you'll find a poem by Antonio Cilloniz: "En las ciudades no hacen monumentos a los amantes.", by which he meant that (almost) all monuments are devoted to war heroes or political figures.

A friend was in Lima a couple of years ago and showed me a picture taken in front of this wall. I was not sure it was the same wall but was pretty sure. I do not know the name of the park, only that in is in Lima. - gringojrf, Nov 30, 2012
