Hello, welcome to the forum! Please use proper capitalization, punctuation and spelling in your posts. Thanks. - rac1, Nov 30, 2012
I fixed your typo and capitalization errors. - francobollo, Nov 30, 2012
did you mean "Am I able to go to Walmart?" or "Do I have permission to go to Walmart?" - ian-hill, Dec 3, 2012

No sé nada de otros países, pero sé, sin duda, que puedo ir a Walmart en México; cuando estamos allá mi amigo va con bastante frecuencia.

I haven't checked everywhere in the 23 Spanish-speaking countries but I don't think that there is a store labelled Walmart anywhere. However, in Chile, my favourite example, Walmart has 4 brand names, " Lider Hiper, Lider Express, Super Bodega aCuenta, and Ekono". So you could say "puedo ir a Lider Hyper, Lider Express, SuperBodega aCuenta o Ekono." Will this work for you?

See my posting. There are more than 3,000 Walmart stores in Latin America alone. - francobollo, Nov 30, 2012
Gradually they are changing the names over. It's still Lider in Chile, but I noticed that in Mexico it's changed to Walmart. - katydew, Dec 1, 2012
Difficult to keep up to date with these. Walmart has been in SA for years of course but the name always used to be a local variant. - geofc, Dec 4, 2012
