Me Voy - Lyric translation
I got some new music for my birthday back in September, and two of those discs were of spanish-speaking artists. I thought it would be a fun project to do a little lyric translation. Last time I did a tune by Cultura Profetica. Today I am tackling a Julieta Venegas tune.
I think I have got most of it, but there are some parts that I am not quite sure about. Please take a look over the lyrics and my translation and post corrections as you see them.

no voy a llorar y decir que no merezco esto (I'm not going to cry and say that I don't deserve this) porque es probable que lo merezco pero no lo quiero por eso (because I probably deserve it but I don't want it, that's why...)
me voy (I'm leaving) que lástima pero adiós (It's a shame but so long) me despido de ti (I say farewell to you)
porque sé que me espera algo mejor (Because I know that I expect something better) alguien que sepa darme amor (Someone who can give me love) de ese que endulza la sal (that sweetens the salt) y hace que salga el sol (and makes the sun rise) yo que pensé (I thought) nunca me iría de ti (I would never leave you) que es amor del bueno de toda la vida (That this is the love of a lifetime) pero hoy entendí que no hay suficiente para los dos (but today I understood that there isn't room for the both of us)

Great job. Some clarifications:
y yo que estoy a un lado -- and I am right beside you--- desaparezco para ti (am totally invisible to you)
porque sé que me espera algo mejor -- because I know something better awaits me
yo que pensé -- and I just thought
que es amor del bueno de toda la vida --- that this love is good and eternal
