The easiest way to learn Spanish is to be born in a Spanish-speaking country.
If it's too late for that, you will need to learn vocabulary and grammar. You will need to practice a little every day. This is a good place for that.
For English speakers, Spanish is widely thought to be the easiest second language to learn but...
What are you asking us?. Do you want encouragement? We're all hooked on Spanish as a challenge we face, as a business requirement, as a relatively easy credit score or whatever so we're good at encouragement. Do you want us to tell you which is the greatest Spanish instruction site? We're biassed. Are you asking for tips about how to learn things, to be a successful student etc?
One thing I would say is that if this is an academic process (sitting at your computer), as opposed to an immersion process (go live there where you have to speak and understand) then you need to try hard to understand what the lessons say, to try very hard to remember what you've learnt and to use your wits to understand how all the elements relate.
Yes this is a lecture but the rewards are great.
I have always believed, that if you are completely dedicated to learning something, if you want to learn it, and you're truly interested, you can do it. It really depends how badly you want to do it.
When I was in grade three, my school told me that it was compulsory to learn a language, and I was excited about it. I had very limited choices of what subject they taught, there was Indonesian, French and Spanish, so I picked Spanish.
When I started, I was really interested for about two months, but then I just didn't care anymore, but I had to keep taking the subject every year until grade/year 10. Even in grade 10, I was still not taking any interest, and I didn't learn anything really.
Though now I'm interested in it a lot, and I've managed to learn a lot in just less than a month.
This is why I believe that you can do anything if you REALLY want to do it. And as for "quickest way"... Don't rush it! You will learn in good time if you try.

I think it's not easy at all, however if you love the language everything will be less hard. To me, the best way is going to school and looking for natives speakers to practice with.
Algunos dirían que "no es fácil para nada" aún si el español es su lengua materna, y pienso, "Cuando dices que no crees que sea fácil para nada... ¿lo dices de la experiencia a pesar de que es tu proprio idioma?"
Vale pues, no creo que sea "fácil" aprender ningún idioma. Requiere mucha práctica y mucho trabajo, pero en fin, es muy parecido al inglés.

Hola, Antonio. El idioma español no ser mi idioma natal no viene al caso. Supondré que tú viste que escribí "idioma materna" pero "propio idioma." Pensé que había escrito lengua materna.. pero sin darme cuenta escribí otro sustantivo (te puedo decir que estos tipos de cosas ocurren incluso al usar tu propio idioma si no prestas atención/repasar lo que has escrito), pero gracias por corregirme el error tipográfico. Voy a cometer algunos verdaderos errores que puedes corregir... tarde o temprano...quizá en esta misma publicación). Vale pues, me gusta el idioma... estos meses de aprender español han sido muy interesante.
