Clock-spring automobile
Right now I've got to replace 2 clock-springs, an item that almost never fails, in two different cars. Does anyone know what it's called in Spanish?
If you don't know what it is I can't say I'm surprised. The clock-spring is a device which surrounds the top of the steering column and makes the necessary connections between the switches and stuff (generally horn and airbag but maybe more) and the car circuits in and around the dashboard.
Many thanks for your efforts gals and guys. I now admit that I've found both although they're not fitted yet.

Could you just use resorte (spring) and point where it goes? jeje
I think in fact, they call it clockspring. Take a look http://es.made-in-china.com/co_kinguard/product_Airbag-Clockspring-for-Lancer_hououyeeg.html
I hope Geof didn't spend these last five years waiting for his answer!
I´ve searched on the net and it doesn´t have a translation into Spanish. Just check this link out! http://ecatepecdemorelos.olx.com.mx/tapas-de-volante-clock-spring-reparacion-y-venta-iid-209727447
