How to say locker in spanish, as in a school locker?

Would it be "ropero", casillero?

I asked my tutor here in Chile and she said, "el locker' - I didn't have her spell it. I should have.

I'm sure this is very regional in terms.

Yeah, both are fine.

Locker (spelled the same way as English, but with Spanish pronounciation) or Casillero. I think in Spain they say "Taquilla".

"Casillero" sounds a bit grand for a school locker as in "Casillero del Diablo" Conch Y Toro's brand name where it refers to the deepest, darkest cellar. - geofc, Nov 22, 2012

México está muy influenciado por los anglicismos y acá muchos dicen como tal "locker". En las películas con traducción latina suelen desir "casillero". Lo que no queda es "ropero".
