I will consider those sentences as your attempts (as you probably know over here it is required that you make your own attempts before asking for help). So, my suggestions to improve those expressions are the next ones:

• Yo me desperté a las cinco de la mañana. By the way, the couples are "yo-me, tú-te, usted-se,..."

• Yo apagué la luz para ahorrar energía.

You may omit the word "Yo" in both cases.

I am not sure what you wanted to say, if "Luego me preocupé por mi partido de fútbol" o "Me preocupé por mi próximo partido de fútbol", in any case you sentence doesn't seem grammatically correct. - -cae-, Nov 21, 2012
