I did not know that about "Tampoco " Geofc ,so that was great information , for which I am truly grateful, thanks mate.
Oops! sorry Ray but I don't like that sentence. In my Spanish world view, "tampoco" cannot precede a negative statement but is used to connect a second negative to the first (or more).
This gives me: "En mi opinión chai no es té. tampoco es café." In fact I wouldn't see a need for "tampoco" here at all: I would simply write "En mi opinión, chai no es té ni café." (ni chocolate come to that)
