If you're talking about a pair of patns:
¿Dónde pusiste mi pantalón...(the color or disctinctive feature of the patns?

While the translator admits the existence of "pantalón" in the singular all of its examples are of "pantalones" in the plural. - geofc, Nov 13, 2012
