As you already know, English has fewer tenses then Spanish.
Today we will examine the preterite and imperfect Spanish tenses.
I will select the verb that we will use.
will tell you its verb meaning…in general.
I will also give you the verbs conjugations.
ou will need to select one of the conjugations and use it in a sentence.
Examples : (Saludar) – Me saludaron en la puerta. – (They greeted me at the door.)

Como ya lo sabes, el inglés tiene menos tiempos que el español.
Hoy examinaremos los tiempos pretérito e imperfecto de español.
Seleccionaré el verbo que utilizaremos.
Les diré la significación del verbo…por lo general.
También les daré las conjugaciones del verbo.
Tendrán que seleccionar una de las conjugaciones y utilizarla en una frase.
Ejemplos: (to greet/salute - Saludar)- They greeted me at the door. (Me saludaron en la puerta.)
Por favor conteste en español y en inglés.

Saludaron su madre y le besaron.
They greeted their mom and kissed her.
Les saludaba cuando el bús llegó.
I was greeting them when the bus arrived.
María me saludó con la mano del otro lado de la sala.
Maria waved to me from the other side of the room.
Cuando era joven, saludabamos a la profesora en una manera correcta.
When I was young we used to greet the teacher very politely.
