Trabajar y vivir en México

¿Es posible que alguien viva en México y enseñar inglés? Yo sé el dinero no es mucho cuando alguien lo hice, pero me encanta México y me gustaría vivir allí.

I am certainly not an expert on Mexican immigration law but I have read a little about working in Mexico and, having lived and worked in China for four years, I have some apprectation for the complexities involved in obtaining permission to work in a foreign country. I assume Mexico would be a foreing country for you. I also assume that by "enseñar inglés" you mean being hired to teach English.

As is the case with most countries, it seems that obtaining permission for a foreigner to work in Mexico is not a quick and simple process and requires a lot of documentation. As I understand it, a key part of this documentation is a letter of employment offer from the organization at which you would teach. Usually an employer must base making such a job offer on not being able to find a Mexican citizen to do the work. In a lot of countries, teaching English is a skill that the country is looking for. After a job offer is received, usually the hiring organization could provide guidance on the rest of the process to obtain the long term visa/work permit. I believe this is something that you would have to secure from the Mexican consulate nearest you place of birth. For naturalized US citizens, the requirement would probably be slightly different.
