Archiving?

Has anyone thought of creating Archives - an area for saving user-generated threads which might be helpful in the future?
I've seen at least two so far which might be worth saving:
- Falsos Amigos 1 (listing spanish and english words which sound similar but have different meanings)
- English Modals and Spanish by Ian-Hill, linking to a word.doc he created.

Thanks for sharing these helpful links. There are so many treasures in old posts. Thanks for digging this one up and sharing. An archive would be amazing.
One thing I'd like to see is for redundant posts, or posts that have been closed could be put into a separate place so it's not so hard to go back through old posts when researching for some answers. There are so many it's impossible to sift through all of them on certain items that get asked a lot.
