Hello.

I'd like to ask the expression 'walk from A to B' using 'andar'. Actually, it may not be a matter of 'andar' ^^, rather of prepositions in Spanish;;; however, how can you say?

The sentence I saw is...

Si vamos en Metro, tenemos que ir andando del mercadillo hasta la Goldelse....

Could you tell me the expressions from A to B in Spanish? Thank you for your help very much in advance.

My attempt:

To walk from A to B.
Andar de la A a la B.

I think they used "hasta" in this sense of "until you reach Goldelse", but I am not positive. - bandit51jd, Oct 31, 2012
De la A a (or hasta) la B means from A to B in the alphabet. - francobollo, Oct 31, 2012

Hello. "Andar" is a synonym of the verb "Caminar". For example: Tengo que ANDAR del mercado a la estación del metro. Para ir a comprar medicamentos tengo que caminar de mi casa al centro comercial.

If you want to use from A to B then you have to say:

Andar del sitio A al B (del mapa, for example).

or Ir del sitio A al sitio B.
