Do people find SpanishDict useful?

Hi, and welcome to the forum!

I'm still pretty new to this myself, but I can honestly say this website has been a fantastic help to me, especially on the speaking part. I love the Q and A section - not only do I learn a lot about the Spanish language, but I also learn a lot about the other users on this site! I also like the fact that you can do each lesson as many times as you like - I've found that a great help to me in my learning.

Extremely useful in so many ways:

Short informative lessons in understandable language, gradually using more and more Spanish.

Helpful grammar lessons

Good practice exercises with feedback

Lots of ready-made flashcard sets

Ability to make my own flashcards

Lots of other learners to help and encourage

Fun games that keep me practicing daily

And did I mention the SD friends? My favorite part of the site.

Humor & perspective which I need a lot of to continue learning

I find it very useful. I'm simultaneously using the Rosetta Stone course, and I find this site surprisingly useful and gratifying in reinforcing those lessons, as well as in explaining the things that are left unexplained by the Rosetta Stone total immersion method (no English explanations). This site is especially helpful in the way conjugations are presented in the lessons, and I really enjoy the videos by Paralee. (That was a surprise; I thought they would be boring). Also, the people in the forum are very knowledgable, helpful, and understanding. I'm glad I found it, and expect to continue to use and participate in it. Bienvenida.

i agree with katydew. This is the best website for learning spanish/ english. I only hope that it continues to expand and pick up more languages.

I just recently got an account, too, but I have been using Spanishdict for awhile now. My goal for learning languages is to (........drum roll......) COMMUNICATE! And Spanishdict has helped build my confidence to communicate with others who speak Spanish. You are in the right place!

I started with the videos here, moved on to create flashcards, and now I'm here for the great people...I love the SpanishDict community!

Things like this I find useful it helps me understand the grammar rules little more. I am learning Spanish in the streets not in school.

I just don't understand "se me".
