i looked up ''to fall out'' and it listed discutir; pelearse, ocurrir, salir and caerse i am unsure of which to use.

to give some context of what i need is, i am doing a translation where a son is persuading his father to let him go on a gap year. the son says : ''i am going with my friends'' and the father replies ''what if you fall out with them (the friends)?

thankyou in advance, and apologies if my English is bad, i'm just learning.

Hello, I think your best option here is pelearse, which is what the father is telling the son in the context you provided.
