tener conjugations
"Carlos y tú"... why is that "tienen" & not "tenéis"??? Wouldn't it be vosotros, plural you? Why does the computer tell me "tienen", when that would be ellos, they? "Carlos and you" wouldn't be "they"! I can't get past this basic conjugation, & I'm halfway through the term.

Sure you can say tenéis (Spain, vosotros) or tienen (Latin America, ustedes).
Remember, tienen can mean you all have or they have.
As Franco says, you can use "tenéis but that's the vosotros form.
The Latin America for of ustedes (you guys--plural) would be "Carlos y tú tienen."
