ENGLISH

A cat wanders around a roof meowing: Meow, meow!

Then, another cat approaches him, repeating: Woof, woof!

The first cat asks him:

  • Hey, why do you bark if you are a cat?

And the second one answers:

  • Am I not allowed to learn languages?

ANSWERS AT THE BOTTOM!!!

Well I got some riddles, but they lose some of their sense in their translation but here goes:

  1. The first one, I'll try to leave it in spanish, its quite simple, but it got a trap in the meaning of the word "corta":

Mientras más corta, más larga, ¿quién soy?

2.

Redondo, redondo, barril sin fondo, ¿quién soy?

Round, round, bottomless barrel, who am I?

3.

Soy chiquito como un ratón, pero cuido la casa como un ratón, ¿quién soy?

I'm small like a mouse, but I protect your house like a lion, who am I?

4.

Cuando me siento, me estiro. Cuando me paro, me encojo. Entro al fuego y no me quemo. Entro al agua y no me mojo, ¿quién soy?

When I sit, I stretch, when I stand up, I shrink. I can go into fire and not burn myself. I can go into water and avoid getting wet, who am I?

EDIT: Well, the list got screwed up lol.

ANSWERS:

1- Unas tijeras / Scissors . There's a play of words between "corta" which means both "short" and "to cut". So if you take the meaning "to cut", It would be logical that when the scissors are longer, they cut more.

2-Un anillo / A Ring. Its round and doesn't have a bottom, right?

3- Un candado / A Padlock

4- Una sombra de un hombre / A man's shadow.

There are two fish in the ocean. One says to the other, "What does your dad do?" The other fish replies to him, "Nothing/he swims."

Mother: Rodriguito, these grades you got deserve a beating!

Rodriguito: OK, mom, I'll tell you where the teacher lives!
