I do not see anything wrong with the phrase "Pretty mountains." It's pretty common down here.

If you are asking if your adjective (pretty) is matching the noun (mountains); yes, your phrase is feminine and plural, "montañas bonitas".

In English, I would say mountains are: beautiful, imposing, overwhelming, stunning, magnificent .. etc. Pretty is usually for smaller, more manageable sights.

The brook is pretty in springtime.. What a pretty garden you have,Mrs. Goodley!
