As you already know, English has fewer tenses then Spanish.
Today we will examine the preterite and imperfect Spanish tenses.
I will select the verb that we will use.
I will tell you its verb meaning…in general.
I will also give you the verbs conjugations.
You will need to select one of the conjugations and use it in a sentence.
Examples : ( bañarse) – Me bañé a las siete. ( I bathed at seven )
Please answer in Spanish and English. Please use ‘clip art” if you have it.

Como ya lo sabes, el inglés tiene menos tiempos que el español.
Hoy examinaremos los tiempos pretérito e imperfecto de español.
Seleccionaré el verbo que utilizaremos.
Les diré la significación del verbo…por lo general.
También les daré las conjugaciones del verbo.
Tendrán que seleccionar una de las conjugaciones y utilizarla en una frase.
Ejemplos: (to bathe oneself - bañarse) – Me bañé a las siete. –( I bathe at seven)

El imperfecto – bañarse…vpr…to bathe oneself
me bañaba, te bañabas, se bañaba, nos bañábamos, os bañabais, se bañaban
El imperfecto – bañar…vt…to bathe

Como niña, me bañaba en el mar Báltico , aunque el agua estba muy frío (que las playas eran muy frías. )
As a child, I used to bathe in the Baltic, even though the waters were very cold.
Me bañe anoche y de nuevo esta mañana.
I bathed last night and again this morning.
Mi perra se bañó en el río ayer. Siquiera llevó su propio jabón.
My dog bathed in the river yesterday. She even took her own soap.
