No, the only difference is that different people use different words. Like English, there are several regional words people use, but it's the same. - katydew, Oct 19, 2012

Alberca is more common in Mexico. Pileta is used in Argentina. The rest of the countries tend to use piscina. But I am sure there are regional differences.
