Yes it does! Good guess! It literally means "How long do you carry here" but it's an idiomatic way to say "How long have you lived here."

The most common way to respond to this question is by saying "Llevo ___ años/meses aquí." Which translates: "I have lived here for ___ years/months."

"¿Cuánto tiempo llevas aquí?" means "How long have you been here?" (informal)

There are various answers.

For example,

-Llevo 3 días aquí. (I have been here 3 days)

-Llevo 3 meses aquí. (I have been here 3 months)

-Llevo 3 meses viviendo aquí. (I have been living here 3 months).

etc

Regards
