If a "tipo" is a "guy", is a "tipa" a gal?

Aunque perezca sensatato la parabla "tipa" para referir al las chicas, creo que nunca he oido o leido tal parable. Se puede decir cosas asi:
"Es tipa simpática" o " Que tipa tan rara". Que dices?

"Tipa" is derogatory, "tipo", not much, so if you wanna say someone is nice, you could say "es un tipo simpático", but "es una tipa simpática" would sound sarcastic. "Chica" or "muchacha" fit better the word "gal" than "tipa".

“Tipa” is considered in many of the 19 latin and south american countries…as disingenuous, and is used as an offensive term for a women thought to be promiscuous.
So, unless you want to become very disliked among women...
