I would say:

Sé que te gustaría. me gustaría ver una foto tuya.

I know you would like that. I would like to see your photo.

it sounds like they're trying to tell you that they know you want to show them a picture more or less. do they speak spanish'

That is the last part, me gustaría ver una foto tuya. I think the first part is "I know (sé) that it will please you", however, put the two together and it doesn't make sense. I am obviouslt missing something.
