How do you say "tv dinner" in Spanish?
If you want to say that someone misses their tv dinners (my mom is in the hospital and told me that) how would you say it? Would it be, "Le me dijo que ella extraña la comida de television."?

TV dinners were an American thing that many other countries never experienced because they cooked meals and didn't have microwaves. Here in Guatemala they have freezers but don't have anything similar to a TV dinner (meat, potatoes, veggies, etc.)
If I had to translate the concept I guess that I would throw it in with other fast food or microwavable food and call it "Comida rapida" or "Comida de microondas."
I can't say if there is a common word for this, but it seems it is usually referred to as a "frozen dinner" or "precooked meal ". " Comida congelada" or "comida precocinada". I wouldn't be suprised if there isn't a Spanglish reference like comida de TV in use, but I can't find a reference to it anywhere.
