Well you asked for it. Here in Mexico, or at least in Baja California Sur there are a lot of apodos used by couples besides all the other more traditional ones offered by the other responses.

• Media naranja
• Mi gordo/a, flaco/a
• mi viejo/a
• mi tesoro

And the one my girlfriend uses the most....mi pinche gringo.
