Corrected: ¿Hace cuánto tiempo que estudias el español? (How long have you been studying Spanish) or ¿Hace cuánto tiempo que empezaste a estudiar el español? (When did you start learning Spanish)
My answer: Hace aproximadamente un año, dos meses que estudio el español.
