Homework Questions--We are here to help!
I just read a comment from a newbie on another post that said,
Can't help with homework; sorry.
However, the original poster of the question had 1) done the work himself; 2) posted his own translation attempt in his post;,and 2) was simply asking for confirmation or a correction of his work. In that case, of course we help!
I just want to make it perfectly clear that Yes, we DO help with homework! In fact, it's what we do most!
All we ask is that the student make the first attempt at his/her own homework and post it in the question asked. It's that easy and simple.
You make the effort and we'll be right there to help.
P.s. Please remember that any post that makes no effort whatsoever to do the homework exercises should not be provided with an answer. It's not helpful to the student.

Thank you for clarifying this Mariana; I think sometimes people (myself included) get confused about when it is or is not ok to help someone with their homework. Often times, people will simply post the page with homework questions and not even try to answer, in which case I don't "help" them, but sometimes it is easy to forget this. Great post, and, I think a very necessary one, too.
Good post Mariana. It's so important that they try to do the work on their own first. However, once they've gone as far as they can go on their own, assistance from somebody else just enhances the learning. Thanks!
