I'm trying to say, "Have you noticed how many times the female characters are pure scoundrels?"

-

Would it work to say, "¿Te has fijado en que cuantas veces sus carácteres femininos son puros bribones?

-

I've thought about this some more... I find this sentence interesting because characters is masculine, and all the characters that we are referring to are female. Yet all the adjectives are still masculine. Is that correct?

Jose, I wouldn't have been able to come up with the sentence at all! Your Spanish is better than mine. I was just looking at the grammar and didn't know if I was missing something. I went back and forth between adding a really long comment under yours, - rheit, Oct 5, 2012
or posting to the forum. I chose the forum because the comments under the answer don't always get responses. My apologies if I should have chosen the former approach. - rheit, Oct 5, 2012

I'd say: ¿Has notado (o te has fijado) cuán frecuentemente sus personajes femeninos son puros sinvergüenzas? "
