Onomatopoeia for Sneezing?

I was in Spanish class today, and we came upon a discussion about sneezing, so if I were to write that someone sneezed in a paper would it still read as "achoo" or would it be different because of the language change? Thanks for your help!

There are no specific rules on how to write onomatopoeia in Spanish. RAE says:

achís.

  1. onomat. U. para imitar el estornudo y, a veces, para designarlo.

  2. interj. Guat. chis (? para indicar que hay algo sucio).

I've seen from Achús, achú, and achí to Jesús, etc.
