Any - Some

Algunas palabras en inglés pueden crear confusión para los principiantes.

Some words in English can be confusing for learners.

This one is to practice the following words: Any - Some

Both native Spanish and English speakers may answer - but write both Spanish and English sentences.

I would appreciate some help in checking the Spanish sentences.

Agradecería una cierta ayuda en la comprobación de las oraciones españolas.

I will "accept" the best effort after about a week

Every attempt will get a vote.

NOTE - we would normally need 2 sentences, one in each language for each use of these words, .

I wonder how many meanings / uses we can find.

Futher explanation as to the different meanings / uses may be given.

Please do not suggest new words - but pictures are welcome.

This is the previous challenge)

Some people just love cars, not just any car, but a Ferrari!

A algunas personas les gustan los autos, no de cualquier clase, sino un Ferrari.

Some animals are better than other animals, of course, but almost any animal can be put into the deep-freeze.

Claro, algunos animales son mejores que otros, pero se puede guardar casi cualquier animal en el congelador.

-- Use some for affirmative statements and answers.
Correct Example: You may have some. Yes, I’d like some.
Incorrect Example: You may have any.

-- Use any for negative statements and answers. Correct Examples: I don’t care for any apple pie.
I can’t have any pets in my apartment.
Incorrect Examples: I don’t care for some apple pie.
I can’t have some pets in my apartment.

Make sure you don’t use "no" when you mean "any" or you will have what is called a double negative.

Incorrect Example: I don’t want no apple pie.
