What Spanish icon do you look up to on a daily basis? Why? Like King Juan Carlos, Pablo Picasso, or miguel de cervantes ???

He is nobody famous, but he was my icon when we were kids in Mexico City and I loved him like an older brother. He was the bass player in our little band and he could always get any girl he wanted. He was so family oriented that he didn´t allow his younger sister to have anything with me, but he never had to worry because I was never suave and debeneer like he was. She told me about this years after we had all become grown-ups.
The last time I saw him was in 1992 when we had a meal together in a Sanborns restaurant close to his family´s home in Lomas Virreyes, México DF. After an hour or so, we noticed that neither of us had eaten a thing from so much time spent on catching up after so many years of being apart. About a year later I called him and was told he had just died of a type of cancer.
I suppose he is still my icon. He was a true gentleman and I still miss him.
