Spanish Greetings in Slideshow form with audio

Question

Hi guys, as a language teacher I'm always aware that we all learn in different ways and many people prefer to learn when the lesson is presented visually or using audio. With that in mind I'm trialling using slideshows with audio for some of my lessons.

Could I ask please for some feedback on my first attempt? Any comments, suggestions for improvement etc welcome. And please no laughing at the kiwi accent or at fact that my recorded voice makes me sound like I'm about 12. jeje

PS: in New Zealand, a kiwi is a bird or a person from NZ but a kiwifruit is the fruit.

I should report that for me the slide show stopped now and then. Could be my connection though.

I love your antipodean pronunciation of the vowels.

No IPA phonetic symbols will be sufficient to do them justice. ha ha

I like it!

I really like the clear voice and the slow speed for beginners. The photos are great!

Well, you know that I'm and editor, so.........

I noticed that ---

• You didn't put parenthesis around "What's your name" in the informal slide, but you did in other slides.

• You didn't capitalize the "C" in "Como" in the "¿Cómo está?" section.

• In Slide number 17 you incorrectly capitalized the "i" in your phrase, "¿Cómo estás? is the formal version.........".

• In the "How are you?" phrases the first word of the sentence, the "h," should be capitalized.

Excellent job! The only thing I'd add is Buenas noches also means "Good evening". I'm very impressed with your work. Congrats!

I did wonder about that but put that 'buenas noches' can be used as a greeting as well, unlike English which is more like just a farewell, so hopefully the listeners will figure it out lol. But I'll keep it in mind for next time :) - Kiwi-Girl, Sep 27, 2012

Excellent Kiwi , I had no probs with your accent or speaking voice ,

it was very clear and understandable . You are doing a tremendous

job with these teaching exercises , they are first class and very well done .

I cannot wait to move on to the fleshy parts.
